Hope all of you are having a great Saturday where ever you are in the world. Today was a glorious day in Southern Cal....nice spring day..clocks go forward tonight..daylight savings starts tomorrow and the sun was out for all to see.
I took Dedan to the Encinitas library first thing this morning where we met a lovely woman called Tania who had cool dreadlocks and who helped us get Dedan a library card. Our local library is a beautiful building and has lots of computers with free internet connection so therefore Dedan can come and go as he pleases and use the computers to check his emails. The library also had a full set of Berlitz learning english dvd's and so we got 5 of the 10 in the series. Not too sure when Dedan is going to manage to watch them all as his schedule is jam packed but we'll figure a way.
Today was my turn for a massage with Mark and while I was doing that Chris took Dedan to the beach as he wanted to swim. Crazy boy!! Does he not know that the water is still cold? or have I become a softie with too many years in Southern Cal? Anyway, Dedan wanted to check out Moonlight Beach, the beach we first showed him last Sunday and so with one of Chris's triathlon suits and a wetsuit for warmth off they went.
Chris said the water was warm but Dedan wasn't having any of that...he said it was VERY cold and lots of waves! Check out the photos..he looks good but also notice the near naked bodies in the background sunbathing...they obviously had not gone in for a dip.
Chris is currently getting the bikes ready for the time trial tomorrow, Dedan is chilling and watching motocross on the tv and I'm about to go and prepare some dinner.
Tomorrow is Dedan's first race and so wish him well.
